First Aid in an Emergency

The first few minutes are the most important!

This course has been designed as a general Emergency First Aid procedures course and will provide the participant with the knowledge and skills to take charge of a situation if a serious injury or major illness occurs.

There is no exam and a training certificate of of attendance is issued.

Course Content

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be competent in recognising and dealing effectively with

• Resuscitation
• Treatment of unconscious casualties
• Heart attack and basic life support
• Choking and airway maintenance
• Communication and delegation in an emergency
• Control of bleeding
