Course Content

On successful completion of the course your fully trained staff will be able to respond safely, promptly and effectively to:

1. An emergency occurring in the workplace

2. Immediate illness or injury

3. A casualty who:

• Is unconscious
• Is suffering from shock
  
• Is not breathing
  
• Is bleeding Has an eye injury
  
• Has a fracture
  
• Has a burn or a scald
  
• Has consumed poison
• Head injury
  
• Choking casualty

and lots more including epilepsy and meningitis.

Course Details

This First Aid at Work course takes place over four days. At the end the candidate will have learned skills that work and really do make a difference.

The First Aid at Work course is taught to the HSE standard for cetification and is valid for a period of three years.
